"Women in Robotics and Automation towards Human Science, Technology and Society" was originally started from advocates of
FRAU, the network for female researchers in robotics and automation in Japan. The following are the starting members of "Women in Robotics and Automation towards Human Science, Technology and Society" who participate in
Women in Robotics at IAS-9: Kae Doki, Maria Gini, Keiko Homma, Kazuko Itoh, Kahori Kita, Noriko Nagata, Naoko Ogawa, Fumi Seto and Mihoko Otake. Dr. Mihoko Otake, one of the members of FRAU, proposed and took the initiative of these activities, and developed this website.
