Ein neuartiger Stahlbeton schützt Gebäude besser vor Bombenanschlägen. Forscher haben eine Formel ermittelt, die die notwendige Dicke des Betons schnell berechnet. Der Baustoff kommt im One World Trade Center auf dem Ground Zero zum Einsatz.

Class Audition&Sign-Up Information

Students interested in Theater 10, 11, 110A & 111:
All acting classes require an audition. Acting students will NOT be able to enroll in 10, 11, 110A or 111 through Tele-BEARS before the beginning of the semester.
Starting August 15, students can sign up via the TDPS online callboard (tdps.berkeley.edu/callboard) for auditions which will be held at the very beginning of the semester.
After the auditions, class lists will be posted on the TDPS online callboard. If you are accepted into the course, the instructor will give you a course control number on the first day that your class meets and you must then add the course via Tele-BEARS. NO ONE will be considered for 10, 11, 110A or 111 without an audition.
For the audition, please prepare a one-minute speech from a play, film script, or a selection of prose. Memorization of the piece is strongly encouraged for Theater 10 and is required for all other classes.

About Number Zero:
Number Zero is both a game and an experiment in real-time computer augmented performance. This semi-improvised dance is about a semi-intelligent computer system threatening to evolve and take over a band of humans.
