Description
The CRIM (Center of Research In Microengineering) is the new name of MiTech Lab (Microfabrication Technology Laboratory), which was established at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in 1991. At present the CRIM has about 25 full time researchers possessing interdisciplinary expertise. The mission of CRIM is to investigate, design and develop microcomponents, microsystems and micromachines for medical and biochemical applications using innovative microfabrication technologies.

The Centre for Autonomous Systems (CAS) is a research centre at the Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan in Stockholm. The centre does research in (semi-) autonomous systems including mobile robot systems for manufacturing and domestic applications. The centre was inaugurated 1. August 1996.

iSSRt is a State of Florida Type II center whose mission is to lead the way in innovating and propagating information and intelligent systems (unmanned systems, computer vision, intelligent networks, sensors and perception, protocols and team processes) for the unique needs of homeland security and defense. iSSRt is unique in its commitment to the entire R&D cycle of basic research, industry transfer through its NSF industry consortium, and field evaluation. Over 14 USF faculty are involved from three USF campuses (Tampa, St. Pete, Lakeland). iSSRt actively partners with other USF centers and universities to promote true multi-disciplinary work.
