She is currently the director of the Robotics I Laboratory and founder of the Autonomous Systems Group at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In addition, she is a faculty advisor for the Stony Brook Robot Design Team. Her current research areas include autonomous systems, robotics and mechatronics.
