Women in Robotics and Automation : Women in Robotics and Automation
Posted by Mihoko Otake on 2007/3/1 16:00:00 (30335 reads)

We change the community name to "Women in Robotics and Automation towards Human Science, Technology and Society" from "Women in Robotics towards Human Science, Technology and Society".

This change is to make clear that the scope of this community includes researchers in the field of automation. Of course, our scope is not limited to robotics and automation, rather open to broad research fields towards human science, technology and society, namely, computer human interaction, computer graphics and digital human, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, haptics, virtual reality and so on.

The 2007 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA'07) will be held in Roma, Italy, from 10 to 14 April 2007. During the conference, the first special event "BOF (Birds of a Feather) Women Lunch" is held.

Please keep on providing links to women in/around robotics and automation you know of who are not yet linked, with affiliation and/or research interests if they are available on the website.
