Lynne E. Parker, Ph. D received her Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has been an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee since 2002, after previously working at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for several years. Her research interests include distributed robotics, artificial intelligence, sensor networks, and machine learning. She was the recipient of the 2000 U.S. Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. She is a Senior Editor of IEEE Transactions on Robotics, and is a member of IEEE, AAAI, ACM, and Sigma Xi.
