(In Japanese) Abstract:
On 7 and 8 March 2006, a set of organized sessions “Women in Robotics, Human Science and Technology” and panel discussion “Women in Robotics, Human Science and Society” was held successfully at the 9th International Conference on Intelligent Autonomous Systems (IAS-9) in Kashiwa Campus of the University of Tokyo, Japan. Mihoko Otake, an assistant professor of Science Integration Program - Humans of the University of Tokyo and Keiko Homma, a senior research scientist at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) organized the events in order to discuss effective style of research and education for society as well as to encourage next generation especially girl students in the world to enter and develop their careers in robotics, human science and technology.
